As you can imagine, we see a lot of email templates. Each week, we'll take a quick look at one in our 'Email Template Of The Week'. A quick review of the design, in no way endorsed by the company, in 140 characters or less.
Workmanlike, lacking content, lengthy, impersonal. 4/10
From; Empire
Subject; EMPIRE MoviEmail for Empire Leicester Square.
This email starts with a personal salutation, but is really not personal. A list of films and their times can be got anytime, what it should contain is some interesting content about the films, ratings and links to reviews.
It is also way too long and does not engage at all - if anything it's counter productive.
4/10 is generous, could definitely do much better!
